Pakistan introduces an AI chatbot:
Pakistan introduces an AI chatbot to assist those with diabetes mellitus. This innovative tool aids in diabetes management and helps people determine their diabetes condition and management.
To aid people in controlling their diabetes, Pakistan has developed a diabetic helper powered by AI called Diabot. The “Discovering Diabetes” Project, of which Diabot is a part, has impacted over 300,000 patients in Pakistan since its inception in 2021. The tool promises to help millions of diabetics who are currently untreated manage their illness.
People may learn about their diabetes state with the use of this AI personal diabetic helper. According to experts, it also assists patients in scheduling an appointment with a diabetologist anywhere in Pakistan and offers helpful advice on how to regulate blood sugar levels through food and exercise.
Syed Jamshed Ahmed, the project’s head, stated during the chatbot’s debut event that “Diabot will assess diabetes risk through an AI-supported chatbot, which works as a personal assistant for patients.” This program provides individualized medication information, nutritional advice, lifestyle suggestions, and medication reminders. Diabot will connect with anybody contacting the Discovering Diabetes hotline at 0800-66766.
With the launch of Diabot and the “Discovering Diabetes” Project, Pakistan has shown its dedication to implementing AI-driven healthcare service improvements.
