Pakistan announces playing XI for the do-or-die match against Sri Lanka, which is scheduled to take place on 14th September, 2023. Pakistan encountered five changes for the Super Four clash against Sri Lanka.

Tomorrow in Colombo’s R. Premadasa stadium, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will square off in their last Super Four game. For both teams to go to the finals, this game will act as a virtual semifinal.

Our pacers Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf, who sustained injuries during the Pakistan India Super Four encounter, are replaced for tomorrow’s game by Zaman Khan and Wasim Jr.

Salman Agha, Naseem Shah, and Haris Rauf were hurt during the game against India, which turned out unfortunate for Pakistan. As back-up, Zaman Khan and Shahnawaz Dahani have been contacted.Today, Zaman Khan arrived in Colombo and is now part of the group. In the 50-over format, Zaman will make his international debut.

Dahani, on the other hand, is scheduled to fly out and arrive in Colombo tomorrow. Muhammad Haris and Saud Shakeel, two batsmen, have been added to the starting XI for tomorrow’s game against Sri Lanka.

Fakhar Zaman is replaced by the out-of-sorts Muhammad Haris. Salman Agha and Faheem Ashraf will rest for tomorrow’s game, which means Saud Shakeel and Muhammad Nawaz have been added to the playing XI.

Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan, is joined by Shadab Khan, who serves as his backup, Mohammad Haris, Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Saud Shakeel, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Shaheen Afridi, and Zaman Khan in the playing XI.
